How Smart Leaders Engage

“First, arouse in the other person an eager want. He who can do this has the whole world with him. He who cannot walks a lonely way.” – Dale Carnegie, How to Win Friends & Influence People

Imagine if employees gave their best every day, were 100% committed to an organization’s success and worked on behalf of the organization’s goals, mission and values.  Let’s turn imagination into reality.

Join us on Tuesday, March 20, as we welcome Kevin McWhirter from Dale Carnegie of Oregon.  Kevin will be discussing the relationship between an organization and its employees:  employee engagement.  Engaged employees are emotionally committed, care about their work and care about their organization.  Engaged employees lead to better business outcomes.

*Redefine employee engagement from an employee perspective

*Assess and define your personal level of engagement

*Correlate levels of engagement to team success

*Leverage techniques for creating and maintaining employee engagement
