About Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) Portland Chapter PDCA Portland Chapter is a member of PDCA Oregon Council and National PDCA. The Chapter consists of painting contractors and Associate and Affiliate members (suppliers to the contractors). The group meets monthly at no-host dinner meetings to network with other contractors and suppliers, discuss issues relevant to the painting business, and listen to speakers on topics concerning technical, regulatory, educational and business management strategies. The group is not a "selling" or marketing organization, but rather an educational resource for painting contractors who strive to be both professional craftsmen and successful business people. With a national PDCA membership base of more than 3,300 contractors, the Portland Chapter has access to outstanding programs, educational seminars, local and national conventions, trades shows, and a vast selection of educational videos, CD's and publications. The group also serves as a means to serve the industry in leadership roles, and reinforce the value of exchanging ideas, and sharing problems and solutions with your peers in a friendly and non-competitive atmosphere.
